Hi, I’m Leslie (she/her) and I’m so glad you’re here.
I believe therapy is a space where you get to exhale — to set down the weight you’ve been carrying and be met with warmth, understanding, and care. At the heart of my work is a deep respect for your lived experience, your capacity to heal in connection and the power of being accepted just as you are. I offer a grounding, nonjudgmental space where meaningful connection and healing can take root. I work with teens and adults navigating the many layers of life — anxiety that feels overwhelming, depression that makes everything feel heavier, trauma that lives in the body and the nervous system, grief that comes in waves, identity questions that feel both exciting and uncertain, relationships that need tending, and life transitions that call for courage and clarity. I show up with steadiness and curiosity, helping you untangle what feels stuck and rediscover what feels like you.
My approach blends person-centered therapy with mindfulness, expressive arts, and somatic awareness — supporting you in connecting with your body, emotions, and inner wisdom. Our work is collaborative, creative, and grounded in trust. I view the therapeutic relationship as a space where healing grows through connection, presence, and the freedom to be fully yourself — not because something is broken, but because you’re ready to deepen into your truth.
When you work with me, you’ll find a space where you can be yourself—free to explore your thoughts, emotions, culture, identity, and life experiences in a way that feels comfortable and natural. I believe the work we do together is shaped by your unique perspective, and I’m here to support you in uncovering what’s on your heart and mind. I’ll gently encourage you to go deeper at your own pace, offering a balance of warmth and understanding as we work through what might be holding you back. My goal is to walk beside you as you explore and heal, creating a space where you feel safe, valued, and empowered to move toward growth and understanding.
I am a white cis-gender woman, and I have lived in many places across both the East Coast and West Coast. My diverse experiences have shaped the way I view therapy — as a space that honors the unique complexities of each person’s journey. I have also worked as a teacher alongside students, families, and community members, as well as serving as a school counselor. These roles have given me a deep appreciation for the strengths and challenges people face in their everyday lives. Through these experiences, I’ve come to understand the importance of connection, community, and authenticity in the healing process.
On a more personal note, I have lived with invisible disabilities my entire life. While they might not be immediately visible to others, they’ve shaped the way I experience the world and understand what it’s like to navigate life when things aren’t always easy to see or define. This experience has taught me the value of patience, self-compassion, and the power of creating space for others to be fully themselves — without needing to explain or justify their journey. Living with invisible disabilities helps me show up with empathy and a deep understanding of what it means to carry weight that others may not always notice, and how powerful it can be to find a space where you can simply be and heal.
If you’re seeking a space that feels safe, soulful, and real — where you can come as you are and grow into what’s next — I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
