Hello! My name is Lisa (she/her).
Life doesn’t come with a roadmap — especially when you’re navigating transitions, identity shifts, or the quiet weight of feeling stuck. I offer a collaborative and compassionate space where you can explore your experiences, clarify your goals, and move toward meaningful change.
I work with individuals, couples, and families on issues such as life transitions, relationship challenges, communication struggles, feelings of injustice, and identity exploration. My approach is grounded in curiosity and respect, honoring your unique story without assumptions or judgment.
As a first-generation Chinese American, I bring a culturally attuned lens to therapy. I understand the complexities of code-switching, cultural loss, and the emotional toll of navigating societal expectations. These experiences inform my work with clients from diverse backgrounds, especially those managing intersecting identities.
I am also passionate about supporting clients with body image concerns and disordered eating, particularly within BIPOC and low-income communities. I am currently pursuing certification in eating disorders to deepen my clinical skills and provide inclusive, affirming care.
Drawing from Structural and Contextual Family Therapy, I help clients examine intergenerational patterns, relational dynamics, and inherited beliefs that may no longer serve them. Together, we’ll explore how these influences shape your relationships and sense of self.
Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, empowered, and heard. Therapy is a journey — and I’m here to walk alongside you with openness, flexibility, and trust.
