Sakura Counseling has opened applications for the clinical internship 2025 year as of October 1st, 2024 for Winter, Spring, and Fall applicants. Applications for the 2025 year will close November 18th, 2024.
Interviews for Winter applicants (January) will be interviewed October 21st-22nd.
Spring (May) and Fall (September) applicants will be interviewed the week of December 2nd-5th.

Sakura Counseling is currently accepting intern applications for Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling (MFCT). Sakura is currently not able to hire Professional Mental Health Counseling (PMHC) interns.
We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn, be collaborative, practice humility, welcome humor, grow, and support community members in their therapy journey. This internship will stretch you, inspire you, and provide you with the practical experience necessary to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application.
As you prepare your application, we encourage you to reflect on your passion for counseling, your academic achievements, and any relevant experiences that have shaped your journey in this field. We look forward to learning about your unique perspectives and how you envision contributing to and benefiting from our internship program.

- Review Internship and Supervision expectations (your school’s and Sakura’s) and make sure we are a good fit in both directions.
- Fill out application and written responses (document above)
- Email completed Application Process, Resume, and Cover Letter to interns@sakuracounseling.org (please make sure to include ALL needed documents to be considered for an internship)
- The Admin Team will review your applications and reach out to schedule a group interview for October 21st or 22nd (Winter start) or Decembers 2-5th (Spring or Fall start)
