Ella

Hello! My name is Ella (she/her) and I’m happy you’re here! I believe that people have the capacity and right to access healing. Therapy is a great opportunity to share and explore your story as we journey toward healing.

It is important to me to share some pieces of who I am, as therapy is a two-way relational process. I am a Mixed woman of color, with Black, White, and Native heritage. I grew up in a low-income household. I am a helper in many facets of my life and I find healing in uplifting those I care about. I am a life-long learner, committed to humility and knowing that there is always more to learn.

I feel strongly connected to the needs of my community, from those I grew up around to folks new to me. I am happy to work individually with teens and adults across identities, experiences, and wants from therapy.

My therapeutic approach draws from narrative, existential-humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral therapies, using a social justice, decolonizing, feminist, and systems lens. It is my honor to witness you and your story and to explore your worries, joys, and hopes with curiosity and kindness. I hope that by creating a healing space, we can better understand your concerns and access more tools to address them so that you can live in line with your values.

I look forward to connecting with you and journeying together!
